The SEKKISEI SAVE the BLUE: Ocean Project celebrates its 16th year and will take place from July 1, 2024, to August 31, 2024. This social contribution campaign supports environmental conservation activities through the sales of eligible products. The summer coral conservation activities are an initiative to protect the beautiful sea associated with SEKKISEI’s blue bottle. It has established itself as a campaign that raises awareness of environmental conservation while enlivening the summer shopping season. Its activities over the previous 15 years have led to the planting of 20,211 corals in total (surface area: 122,696,123cm² *1).

This year, SAVE the BLUE projects, including coral conservation and planting activities, will once again take place in eight different countries and regions, leveraging the uniqueness of each area: China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the USA.
In Japan, KOSÉ will donate a surface area equivalent to the total bottom area*2 of the containers of eligible SEKKISEI brand products purchased during the campaign period. The donation is made to Sea Seed Co., Ltd. to fund coral cultivation efforts in Okinawa, Japan.

This year, SEKKISEI is also collaborating with Hotel Nikko Alivila Yomitan Resort Okinawa, which is located on the coast next to a coral cultivated through SAVE the BLUE activities in Yomitan-son. SEKKISEI skincare amenities will be available*3, and a portion of sales will also be donated to Sea Seed Co., Ltd. to fund coral cultivation efforts.

Plant-A-Coral, Seed-A-Reef Program in Singapore
As part of KOSÉ’s initiative to support coral conservation and enhance marine biodiversity in Singapore, KOSÉ Singapore will donate $3,188 to the Garden City Fund’s Plant-A-Coral, Seed-A-Reef Program. The Garden City Fund is a registered charity and IPC in Singapore, ensuring that 100% of donations go towards the projects it supports.
